Here is what to expect, start to finish.
When several teeth are missing, a partial denture fills the space. It clips onto your natural teeth and comes out for cleaning.
Gaps make chewing harder, and over time nearby teeth can drift or tilt into the open space.
We take impressions or a digital scan so your partial is made to fit your mouth.
Natural-looking teeth on a gum-colored base, with small clasps that hold it in place.
Small metal clasps hug your natural teeth near the gum line to keep the partial steady while you eat and talk.
It may feel a little bulky at first. Most people get used to it within a few weeks.
Take it out and clean it every day, and keep brushing your natural teeth too.
Your dental team is happy to walk you through every step before, during, and after your visit.
