All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth

By December 25, 2013No Comments

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth. We’ve heard it before. This classic Christmas tune has had people giggling for years. In 1944 Donald Yetter Gardner, a music teacher, asked his class what they wanted for Christmas. As he listened to the answers he noticed that many of the kids were missing front teeth causing them to speak with a lisp. He thought this was so funny that he wrote a song. He says it took him about 30 minutes to finish the song and it blew through the nation like a storm. Well for us it is more than just a tune. We have had the joy of working on front teeth.

If you are missing your front teeth this Christmas it may be time to give yourself that gift you’ve been singing about for years. Don’t ask Santa for this one. He is not a trained dentist and will probably just drop two teeth in your stocking. They may not even be front teeth. Make sure you ask your dentist instead. We have done this once or twice before. It is amazing the confidence good teeth can give you. We can help kids who have lost teeth and or have lisps. All you want for Christmas are your two front teeth? Wish granted. Come visit your dentist in St. George, Utah. Anything else we can do for you? Wait, you want a hippopotamus for Christmas and only a hippopotamus will do? I’m sorry to say we can’t help with that.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Ence Dentistry!
