What sealants do
The back teeth have deep grooves where food and plaque hide. A sealant fills those grooves with a thin coating, so they're easier to keep clean and less likely to get cavities.
How it works
- We clean and dry the tooth
- We paint the sealant into the grooves
- A light hardens it in seconds
- Done. No needles and no drilling
Who they're for
Sealants are most often placed on children's and teens' permanent molars soon after they come in. Some adults benefit too.
Ence Members save 20% on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, with no deductibles, no yearly maximums and no waiting periods.
