When you need one
When the soft inside of a tooth gets infected or inflamed, it can cause a strong toothache, swelling or sensitivity that lingers. A root canal treats the infection and saves the tooth.
How it works
- We numb the tooth
- We clean out the infected pulp
- We seal the inside of the tooth
- Usually a crown follows to protect it
After treatment
Most people feel much better within a few days. Mild soreness is normal and usually eases with over-the-counter pain relievers.
Ence Members save 20% on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, with no deductibles, no yearly maximums and no waiting periods.
